Sloth Bear Sanctuary in desperate need of conservation - 2

Its not that there haven't been any Sloth Bear conservations earlier. So one cannot give a lame excuse like being the first one or not knowing anything about it yet. Further, if one has to really look forward to the eco tourism part of conservation, the Sloth Bear Resort in the State of Karnataka is quite inspiring.

With the guidance of Late Col. John Wakefield and support from the Government, Jungle Lodge and Resorts have been commendable in preserving and developing various eco tourism site around the State, the flagship resort being the one at River Kabini, a tributary of River Cauvery.

Similar efforts and willingness to provide effective service to the tourist is needed. But the bureaucratic webs and complete indifference and lethargy will surely lead to another wildlife treasure wiped out of the forest map. Act now.

Preserve Nature, adopt a Tree.
